Tourism Today ( Facts and Challengers)

  1. What are the four positive and four negative effects of tourism mentioned in the article?  
           The four positive of tourism mentioned in the article: 
  • Tourism creates many good jobs an careers
  • Tourism can help to protect environments and animal life
  • Tourism can save cultures and the local way of life
  • Tourism can change countries and people for the better
          The four negative of tourism mentioned in the article:
  • `Tourism also produces many poor and badly paid jobs
  • Tourism can also damage environments and animal life
  • Tourism can also destroy cultures and the local way of life
  • Tourism can also change them for the worse
 2. How many jobs in tourism can you think of?
  •  The job in tourism are mass tourism, thematic tourism, interest tourism, tourism officer, tour manager, travel agency manager, etc.
3. Can you think of some recent internasional or national events that have affected the tourism industry?
  • Some recent international and national events have affected the tourism industry. Tourism is one of the biggest businesses in the world.For example, human being who want to enjoy the silence, come to Bali for enjoy the silent when Hindu celebrate Saka New Year 1935. Bali is a heaven island, in that event Bali will celebrate Saka New Year 1935. Saka New Year (1935) is a event when we can't use the electricity in a day. That event can makes us feel calm and for some people use that event for meditation and yoga. Many tourist come to Bali for celebrate and enjoy with that event, because in their country or other country the tourist never get the silence day when human can't use the electricity and they use that event for meditation. In a day, bali is free for pollution and the tourist really enjoy it. For that event, the restaurant, Hotel, and other place in Bali invite the tourist to come and see the miracle of Dewata Island.
4. Do you think (find a certain place) as an object of tourism is a positive or a negative influence in our country?
  •  In my opinion, an object tourism almost gives a positive influence for our country. Every province has a uniqe object tourism. We take example in Lampung, Lampung has an object tourism, that is Way Kambas. Way Kambas is a school for elephant. Every year, many tourist come to Way Kambas, they learn about habit's elephant, etc. Way Kambas is not only as an object tourism but also can give knowledge for tourist while he is studying about habit's elephant.  
5. Which countries would you like to visit? Why?
  • I will visit Venesia. Venesia is one of city in the North Italy. Venesia has some beautiful place and that place is a romantic place for some couple, not only about the place but also the transportation for the tourist when they want to enjoy and look other place. They can use Gondola Ride. I want to come in venesia with my husband and we can look some beautiful view in Venesia.

Business communication (or simply "communications", in a business context) encompasses such topics as marketing, brand management, customer relations, consumer behaviour, advertising, public relations, corporate communication, community engagement, reputation management, interpersonal communication, employee engagement, and event management. It is closely related to the fields of professional communication and technical communication. 
Media channels for business communication include the Internet, print media, radio, television, ambient media, and word of mouth.
Business communication can also refer to internal communication. A communications director will typically manage internal communication and craft messages sent to employees. It is vital that internal communications are managed properly because a poorly crafted or managed message could foster distrust or hostility from employees. Business communication is a common topic included in the curricula of Masters of Business Administration (MBA) programs of many universities. AS well, many community colleges and universities offer degrees in Communications.
There are several methods of business communication, including:
1.       Web-based communication - for better and improved communication, anytime anywhere
2.       Video conferencing which allow people in different locations to hold interactive meetings
3.       E-mails, which provide an instantaneous medium of written communication worldwide
4.       Reports - important in documenting the activities of any department
5.        Presentations - very popular method of communication in all types of organizations, usually involving audiovisual material, like copies of reports, or material prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint or Adobe Flash
6.       Telephoned meetings, which allow for long distance speech
7.       Forum boards, which allow people to instantly post information at a centralized location
8.       Face-to-face meetings, which are personal and should be succeeded by a written followup
9.       Suggestion box,it is mainly for upward communication as because some people may hesitate to communicate to the to management directly so they can give suggestion by drafting suggestion in suggestion box.
Business communication is somewhat different and unique from other types of communication since the purpose of business is to make money. Thus, to develop profitability, the communicator should develop good communication skills. Knowing the importance of communication, many organisations train their employees in communication techniques.
Types of business communication
·         Verbal communication:  Verbal communication is a type of communication that involves use of words for communicating.
·         Non-verbal communication: [Non-verbal communication] is a mode of communication which only majorly uses body language and various other physical gestures as a means for communicating.
·         Written communication: Written communication is a type that only includes written forms for communicating.
·         Employment communication: Employment communication is a mode of communication that is particularly used for accepting the applicants for a job.
·         Electronic communication: Electronic communication is the modern way of communication that includes electronics and latest technology for communicating such as teleconferencing e-mail, etc.
·         Team B Communication: Team B Communication is a form of communication that exists in the cyber classroom where solid teamwork and collaboration results in excellent grades in academia.
